This video is near and dear to birth keeper Yesenia Giron. Captured here are Elders from Treaty 3 Territory, including her late Grandmother, Elsie Blackhawk-Anishinaabe Elder. Take a look and listen to the stories of midwives and birth amongst the communities.

You will often here us we refer to this "work" as not a job, but a true calling, a deeper connection & intuition passed through our DNA and lineages where we have come to walk the path of our ancestors. We give thanks to those before us and we continue to pray and walk in a good way, "minobimaadziwin".
