PRENATAL (*BIRTH SUPPORT)

Connecting to Your Body and Baby

3 prenatal visits with your selected birth keeper. Discussions on birth plan, comfort measures and what to expect through phases and stages of labour. Traditional teachings on pregnancy and birth. Prenatal visits can be tailored to your birthing needs. All clients have access to Kilila Lending library, a series of books about pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

LABOUR AND BIRTH (*BIRTH SUPPORT)

Entering into the Ceremony of Birth

On call support from 37 weeks pregnant until the birth of your baby. In person labour support and 1-2 hours post birth support. Clients have access to a birth pool and TENS machine.

POSTPARTUM TRANSITION (*BIRTH SUPPORT)

Journey Into Parenthood

1 postpartum visit to check in on physical and emotional healing. Referrals to local community resources. If you need extra postpartum support, such as a designated postpartum doula, please discuss with your doula to make arrangements.

STAND ALONE SUPPORT

Designed to your specific family needs. Includes areas of lactation, postpartum support and childbirth education

CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION

Leaning Into Knowledge

Option to choose a condensed class of 3 prenatal visits with a certified childbirth educator or a traditional 6 week series. Discussions on: birth plan, comfort measures, what to expect through phases and stages of labor, pain management, challenges and interventions, caesarean birth, lactation and infant feeding and postpartum expectations. Traditional teachings on pregnancy and birth.

Feeding With Attachment

Speak to a lactation educator or one of our doulas about your feeding goals, healthy infant behavior, what to expect, identifying challenges/ solutions and referrals to health care providers.

POSTPARTUM SUPPORT- (NO BIRTH SUPPORT REQUIRED/NEEDED)

Support For The Fourth Trimester

Designated postpartum doula support designed for your specific needs. Assistance includes but not limited to the following: lactation, sleep support, light household duties, meal prep and general baby care.

Placenta Print/Keepsake

Honoring Your Baby's First Home

3 prints and a choice of white or black frame. Cord keepsake can be added at no additional cost. Design and color scheme tailored to your wishes. 

  • 3 food safe dyed prints

  • 1 frame (white or black)

  • Cord keepsake

  • Processed placenta (dehydrated/blended and stored in a mason jar)

  • Investment: $200

FULL SPECTRUM

As full spectrum doulas, we provide support for all outcomes of pregnancy. Including miscarriage, abortion, loss and still birth. If you are a current client requiring this support, please connect with your birth keeper. Investment for doula support:
 

  • Indigenous families are covered by grant funding (up to $1200.00 per support) and do not need to pay out of pocket. Connect with your doula to go over family and invoice applications. Applications will need to be filled out with your doula. Please visit https://bcaafc.com/dafgp/ for more information and to get familiar with the process
     

    • Service includes birth or postpartum support for qualifying families​
       

  • Market rate for birth support: $1500.00 . Holding deposit of 50% required upon signing service agreement or an agreed upon date.
     

  • Market rate for postpartum support: $25.oo/hourly day rate and $35.00/hourly overnight rate

  • Payment plans available
     

  • Sliding scale for low income families
     

  • Placenta package: $200.00 (includes 3 prints, dehydrated placenta and cord keepsake. Placentas are not processed for encapsulation or consumption)
